D&D Journal
I recently started a new D&D campaign with a few of my friends! I usually don't like playing D&D 5e (the system we're using), but I found out about a book published a few years ago called The Wild Beyond the Witchlight which is exactly the kind of thing I enjoy. It's a Labyrinth-style Feywild adventure that's more lighthearted in tone than most, and it encourages players to use noncombat solutions to their problems.
The PCs
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
(aka Alphabet)
A harengon sorcerer who works at the Witchlight Carnival. He can preform acrobatic feats that amaze crowds, but his personal life is stunted due to the theft of his ability to love.
Kir
A human warlock whose patron, Zybilna, has been oddly unresponsive. Their lost item was a small wooden bird of great sentimental value.
P (Rho)
A changeling bard who also works at the Witchlight Carnival. Their ability to dance was taken from them - a sad state for a bard; their musical skill is lauded but they cannot in any way use their body to express their love of it.
